Mysterio, a really hard to use character. As he is all fake, once you know there's nothing mistic about him but a lot of holograms and special effects, his menace is reduced (plus, he has to fight agaist a guy that has a Spider-sense that prevents him from real danger). This is a villain that needs the crime scene prepared for his play, and has little offensive power of his own, but is great to have somebody as 'artistic' between the top spider-villains. In Spectacular Spiderman, they had the great idea that he used robot devils as a weapon, which I found fitting and very funny, in addition to the fact that he acted as a magician with spells in latin. Great characterization overall.
My design pretends to make him look like a dark wizard from other dimention, a non human creature from another time or another world. Giving him a robe instead of the tights give him the possibility to hide weaponary under his clothes, and the floating ball can have many more uses than if it was a helmet. The inside of the cape rojects a simulation of a cosmos, just to distract. You would say he can actually take something out of it.
