Next, Mr. Freeze, the bad guy who gives more punchlines than any other... cause I don't know you people, but I have heard the "Freeze!" line from the cops or the "Cold blood" joke enough times already. I like the motivation of these guy, when you know his history you say "no wonder he became a sociopath". Plus, is a very cool version of the "subzero" kind of villain, better than Killer Frost or Icycle.
I wanted the suit of Mr. Freeze to look hermetic, since he cannot live out of it. Plus, I erased the freezing gun, prefering to make him able to turn everything he touches in a popsicle, like his version of The Batman series (which is great, although his origins just destroy what Mr. Freeze is...). With this outfit you would say he can't move very fast, but who needs to run when everything around you freezes?

erm, sorry, no pun intended hehe. I love mr. Freeze. And I completely agree with you about everything! I like the new design the modern series gave him, but its true the change in his origins sucks... he's just another mutant gangster instead of the complex character he was, *sigh*, so much potential in this villain, yet almost everything they do with him ends on a disaster (*cough*batman & robin movie *cough*), I'm tired of the punch lines, too. I saw the movie with my friends, and every time I finally got to se him as a serious character, arnold opened his mouth and ruined everything. The filtring with poison ivy didn't help, either. ops! I always start babbling when talking about mr. freeze.. I love the drawing.
Mr. Freeze was never meant to be a speedy, agile character to begin with, really; like you said, his schtick was slowing things down to match his tempo. He was always supposed to be bulky and strong.
